After several well-attended public meetings, Food4Hull formed in 2013 as a registered limited company. It spawned the launch of Hull Food Partnership in 2018 and content from that site has been moved over here during 2020.

What Food4Hull did (2013 – 2018)
Food4Hull was a network of people embedded in and embracing the depth and breadth of the voluntary and community sector in the city of Hull as a member of the Sustainable Food Cities national network. Food4Hull aimed to encourage the public, private and third sector organisations to collaborate together with local communities to improve the food system and make food more local, sustainable and available to everyone.
They worked to raise awareness of the huge amount of work already happening in the city in the provision of local food to all communities. They did this by building links between local producers, schools, colleges and universities and organisations such as the Growers’ Network
