Hull Harvest Feastival October 10th 2015
The first Hull Harvest ‘Feastival’. Surplus fruit and vegetable ingredients donated by local allotments then prepped and cooked by volunteer chefs and catering team of 30 people. Passerbys invited to register with an email address in return for 3 tokens entitling them to two dishes from the menu including soup, curry, apple crumble, plus a drink (apple juice freshly pressed from a local orchard).
In total 500 people were catered for in Hull City Centre.
Growers’ Network Launch – April 2016
Hull Growers’ Network was created building on the success of the Feastival the previous Autumn. A monthly coordinated campaign with veg growing skill shares each month with food cooked at these events indoors or outdoors to feed the attendees.

The second Feastival beside Princes Quay. A similar set up as the first year.
Again catering for 500 people including many passersby.
Freedom Feastival 2017
May – skillshare at Frith Farm www.frithfarming.com
June – Cooking team’ training evening Sikh Temple.
2018 Freedom Feastival
A much bigger event, going up to 1500 meals workn in conjunction with Freedom Festival. Coordinated by TimeBank funded by Freedom Festival.
