Find out if you are part of the Circular Economy

Hull Food Partnership want to hear from organisations in Hull and the East Riding who think they might be part of the circular economy.

Many organisations are part of the circular economy but don’t even know it.

A circular economy is a model of production and consumption, which involves sharing, leasing, reusing, repairing, refurbishing and recycling existing materials and products as long as possible. A circular economy aims to tackle global challenges like climate change, biodiversity loss, waste, and pollution by emphasising design based implementation of the three base principles of the model.

The three principles required for the transformation to a circular economy are:

    • eliminating waste and pollution
    • circulating products and materials
    • the regeneration of nature

If reading that description makes you think you might be part of the circular economy in Hull and the East Riding, then Hull Food Partnership needs to hear from you RIGHT NOW on an exciting new mapping project that will be part of the Yorkshire Circular Economy Festival!
